Wound Care Center


The Wound Care Center of NBRH involves a TEAM approach to provide the most advanced and complete programs for the management of acute and chronic non-healing wounds, bedsores/pressure ulcers, skin tears, 1st and 2nd degree burns, edema, and ostomy care. The Wound Care Center incorporates the support of specialists such as infectious disease nurses, nutritionists, diabetes educators, orthotic consultations, and an E.T. Nurse for ostomy consultations, and skin problems.

At the Wound Care Center of NBRH, each patient’s care plan is tailored to meet his/her specific needs and coordinated with their primary care physician, care-givers or visiting nurse agencies. As a result, the wound treatment provided creates an environment that encourages the healing process where patients have less pain and recover faster.

Treatment and after care will be provided by C. Douglas Fogg, MD, FACS and other experienced members of the interdisciplinary team.
